All units have waterfront views! Buildings 1-6 are on the open Gulf, with southeasterly views, catching the morning vistas of birds and sea life starting the day. Buildings 7-10 front on Cedar Key's stunning wildlife filled tidal basins, where one can also watch the commercial watermen and women starting the day's work of harvesting the bountiful waters off Cedar Key. Each vista has it's own merits, come twice and sample both.
Our condominiums are individually decorated by the owners and show the eclectic tastes of each. Many have been decorated with local artists' work, feel free to jot down the names of your favorite artist and ask at the office where the artist's work is displayed.
All units come fully equipped, including linens, cookware, tableware and cutlery.
For entertainment, each unit has a TV with DVD player. Some have VCRs, some CD players. Most have a video library. We more than likely have your favorites, but just in case, feel free to bring your own. Books are available in many units, or stop at the office for your favorite thriller, Florida history, or "just gonna soak up the sun" paperback. Cedar Key is proud of our local book seller, Curmudgeonalia, boasting books, books and more books, games and puzzles, and internet access so you may leave your computer at home.
Many units are equipped with wireless internet, some have desktop computers for your surfing needs. Please let the office know when making your reservation which services can be provided.
Kitchens are fully equipped with ice makers, microwave ovens, full sized electric range, coffee makers; most also have toaster ovens, blenders, electric can openers, mixers, etc. Cedar Key is home to The Market, the largest small grocery you will find. A full service market, they carry everything from apricots to Zinfandel.
Grills are provided on the grounds; we request all grilling be done on those provided.
Boat parking is provided for guests. While Cedar Key is a small town with little or no problems, we recommend you secure your personal items in your unit.
